now, personally, I would just like to add, that the whole purpose, if perhaps not specifically stated, of blogging, is to keep messages, and most importantly the replies to messages, short, snappy, and especially appropriate, at the time of posting, there is nothing to be gained by exaggerating, elongating or in any way deviating from the original message, for fear of losing the readers’ interest, or indeed, diverting them onto issues that, on first viewing, they were not intending to stray onto, and therefore it only really remains for me, at this point, to congratulate Mr Foster, whose blog I can wholeheartedly recomend to fellow runners, climbers and canoists, and general enthusiasts of the great (even in bad weather) outdoors, and who I hope would in turn do likewise, for his succinct entry today.
